Denitia
If Norah Jones took a road trip through the heart of the South with Kacey Musgraves riding shotgun, you might end up somewhere near the sound of Denitia. Known for her smooth, ethereal style and lyrics that explore identity, transformation, and homecoming, Denitia’s music feels both deeply personal and universally resonant. A Texas-raised, Nashville-based singer-songwriter, Denitia brings a fresh, genre-blending voice to country, folk, and indie soul. Initially gaining recognition in the R&B scene, Denitia transitioned to Americana with her 2022 album Highways. The album features tracks like “All the Sweet Tea” and “My Weakness,” and has been praised for its atmospheric storytelling and emotional depth. In 2023, Denitia released Sunset Drive, an album reflecting her journey of self-discovery and her move back to Nashville. Denitia has also been named one of CMT’s 2024 Next Women of Country. Don’t miss your chance to see the incredible Denitia perform at SummerSounds.
